natrosol™ hydroxyethylcellulose
Hydroxyethyl cellulose products find use in some reconstituted tobacco formulations. Easy to incorporate and providing nice rheology as well as binding characteristics. Typical are products at the lower end of the viscosity specification to avoid too strong viscosity built in the tobacco slurry.
Natrosol™ products are available in:
- various substitution levels, depending on end application needs
- low to very high molecular weight
- very fine to coarse particle size
- treated for easy incorporation into water (retarded solubility) or non-treated
