who knows ZERO is always possible? we do.
The American Chemistry Council has recognized 22 Ashland manufacturing sites and research centers for safety performance in calendar year 2020, underscoring that ZERO is always possible. Criteria or the awards are as follows:
CERTIFICATE OF ACHIEVEMENT
The Certificates of Achievement are for those facilities with zero deaths and zero days away from work cases for employees.
CERTIFICATE OF HONOR
The Certificates of Honor are for those facilities with zero deaths, zero days away from work cases, and zero job transfer or restriction cases, according to current OSHA guidelines in 2019 for employees.
CERTIFICATE OF EXCELLENCE
The Certificates of Excellence are for those facilities with zero deaths, zero days away from work cases, and zero job transfer or restriction cases among both employees and contractors in 2019.
“Living out our Zero Incident Culture for an entire year is an outstanding accomplishment,” said Dave Druckenbroad, vice president Environmental, Health and Safety, Sustainability, Quality and Regulatory Affairs and Incident Commander, COVID-19 Global Incident Management Team. “It underscores that our employees at each of these sites completed every day without an injury and they went home to their loved ones in the same condition in which they arrived for all of 2020. I want to recognize the solvers at each of these sites for this important accomplishment.”
