Gaffix™ VC-713 polymer (Copolymer VC-713) INCI Name: Vinyl Caprolactam/VP/Dimethylaminoethyl Methacrylate Copolymer
Gaffix VC-713 polymer (sold as Copolymer VC-713 in Europe) is a terpolymer of vinyl caprolactam/vinylpyrrolidone/dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate developed for hair fixative and styling formulations. In hair fixatives, the polymer provides superior holding power at low solids level, even in high humidity environments.
It has excellent compatibility with all types of aerosol propellants, including hydrocarbons, and requires no neutralization.
