Gantrez™ AN polymers

Our Gantrez polymer line of methyl vinyl ether and maleic anhydride copolymers have excellent film-forming properties and offer bioadhesive performance.

Gantrez AN polymers are available as a water-insoluble white powder.

They can be easily dispersed in water where the polymeric anhydride hydrolyzes to produce a transparent solution of the free acid. Four standard grades are available, each differentiated by molecular weight ranging from 200,000 to 2 million.
