optiphen™ mit plus is a unique globally approved preservative blend based on 5.0% methylisothiazolinone in combination with a booster component, phenethyl alcohol. This combination widens the activity profile and provides broad spectrum protection against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, yeast, and mold. Products that are sensitive to yeast and mold may need an additional fungicide.
