SDS Link >Optiphen™ MIT Plus preservative is approved for use in all major markets and is compatible with a variety of formulations and not based on paraben, formaldehyde or halogens. These methylisothiazolinone-based preservatives can be used in products that are typically considered difficult to preserve with conventional preservatives. Effective against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, yeast and mold, they offer excellent heat stability, work across a wide pH window and are easily solubilized in water.
