Ashland in the United States

In 1924, Ashland was founded in Ashland, in eastern Kentucky. Today our global headquarters is located Covington, Ky., directly across the Ohio River from Cincinnati. While we have remained close to our roots, much has changed since our founding. Today we are a leading global specialty chemical company with offices and facilities throughout the world. In addition to our global headquarters, we have five major sites: Ashland Performance Materials in Dublin, Ohio; Ashland Consumer Markets in Lexington, Ky.; Ashland Specialty Ingredients in Wilmington, Del., and Wayne, N.J., and Ashland Water Technologies, also in Wilmington, plus a services facility for the entire company in Russell, Ky. Major research and development laboratories are also located in Dublin, Lexington, Wayne and Wilmington.
