Inverter/Rectifier
The AMERARC™ I-400 MST, a 400 amp inverter rectifier, is ideal for making MIG-GMAW, FCAW, Stick-SMAW, "Lift-TIG"-GTAW and carbon arc gouging. Welding with any process is easy: Simply select a process, set the correct current and voltage, and start the job. Up to five welding programs can be saved for standard applications. The machine accepts either 230 or 460 volts. If the machine is accidentally connected to improper voltage "Smart Logic" technology prevents it from being damaged.
The AMERARC I-300 TSW, a 300-amp AC/DC inverter rectifier, is ideal for stick and TIG welds in all metals. It is especially suited for aluminum. The machine provides variable frequency, square wave output with adjustable balance control. This machine provides a true "square wave" AC output. The current reverses from positive to negative and back instantaneously.
