Setleze™ 3000 polymer INCI Name: Vinylpyrrolidone/Dimethylaminopropylmethacrylamide Copolymer
Setleze 3000 polymer is a high molecular weight copolymer that has a strong affinity for anionically charged substrates. Presence of the amide linkage imparts greater hydrolysis resistance. Setleze 3000 polymer is compatible with nonionic, cationic and amphoteric surfactants and is soluble in ethanol and water, and partially soluble in acetone.
The polymer is produced by a proprietary in-situ process resulting in a two-phase matrix consisting of soluble copolymer and nanoscale particles, approximately 320 nm in size, that impart improved water resistance.
