Drilling Fluids

These acrylic homopolymers, copolymers and aminophosphate-based products prevent scale build-up in both formation and production equipment. Jaypol 1160 additive is a molecular weight varient of the sodium salt of a polyacrylate homopolymer. Jaypol 650 (amino phosphonate) additive is a general-purpose scale inhibitor that functions at a high calcium level and is especially tolerant of high-dissolved irons. It has good chemical stability, can withstand high temperatures and provides additional corrosion protection.
