Ebotec™ biocides
If a product is made with water or comes in contact with it, Ashland biocides and preservatives can help protect it against bacteria, fungus and algae. Ashland offers a broad portfolio of biocides to help protect product integrity and ensure performance over the long term.
The Ebotec biocides are based on isothiazolones and additional actives
such as bronopol and phenoxyethanol. The Fungitrol™ biocides range is based on IPBC (3-iodo-2-propynyl butylcarbamate) and offer broad-spectrum protection. The Nuosept™ biocides range encompasses a variety of preservatives based on various active ingredients. Same for Bacillat™ biocides range and Bodoxin™ biocides range.

- Active ingredients: mixture of 5-chloro-2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (CMIT) and 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (MIT) (3:1) and bronopol

Ebotec MB150 biocide
- Active ingredients: mixture of 5-chloro-2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (CMIT) and 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (MIT) (3:1) and bronopol
- Broad spectrum of bactericidal and fungicidal efficacy, VOC-free
- Reduced potential for allergic contact sensitization

Ebotec BT80 biocide
- Active ingredients: 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one (BIT) and phenoxyethanol
- Broad spectrum of bactericidal and fungicidal efficacy, AOX-free

- Effective pH range: 3-12
- Temperature stable
- Available only in Europe
