Dimension™ lotionizing additives
Value can be added to tissue in a number of ways, but incorporating lotion in tissue appears to be one of the most readily accepted by consumers. Dimension lotionizing additives comprise a family of hot melt, liquid concentrate and emulsion products that add value to tissue by imparting skin conditioning properties to the final sheet and by enhancing surface softness. These lotions are suitable for both facial and toilet tissue and are compatible with all popular commercial application systems.
Additional enhancements can be achieved by incorporating one or more of Ashland’s care additives and fragrances. Available care additives, which include aloe vera, chamomile, cocoa butter, echinacea, lanolin and magnolia, provide skin conditioning benefits as well as the benefits associated with the given plant extract. Available fragrances, which include lavender, mint, pine, rose and vanilla, remain inert after application but release a burst of fragrance when the tissue is used. Dimension lotionizing additives are frequently custom blended with specific care additives and fragrances for individual clients to allow them to promote the unique benefits of their value-added products.
