Amergy™ fuel oil additives

Amergy fuel oil additives comprise a family of specially blended products that improve the efficiency of boiler operations by effectively controlling fireside corrosion and deposition in steam generating systems. The family includes combustion aids that mitigate problems related to incomplete combustion by lowering the activation energy required to complete the combustion process, thus reducing carbon

deposits, soot and smoking. Deposit modifiers in the fuel oil additives prevent high and low temperature fireside corrosion by reacting with contaminants in the fuel (e.g., vanadium, sulfur and sodium) to form less adherent, more friable ash with a higher melting point. A variety of product formulations are available to suite a wide range of operating conditions.

Water Process Applications

Using both laboratory bench and pilot scale equipment, the team can evaluate chemical and mechanical treatments and explore “what-if” scenarios under actual-use conditions.
