Amerfloc™ coagulants and flocculants
A reliable source of fresh water that is low in suspended solids, iron, manganese and color is vital for drinking water, boiler water makeup, cooling tower makeup and other industrial processes. Contaminants in fresh water can cause numerous problems. If not properly controlled, suspended solids, iron and manganese can cause fouling of process equipment and/or increase maintenance costs.
Amerfloc coagulants and flocculants significantly enhance the
coagulation and flocculation of suspended solids across a variety of industrial applications and are specially formulated to meet NSF/ANSI standards. Effective over a wide pH range, Amerfloc products produce a larger floc that settles faster with less pinfloc and carryover in the effluent. The products can partially or often totally replace alum, ferric, lime or other inorganic coagulants, thereby reducing sludge volume for disposal.
