Business partners hear details of Responsible Care and safe operations

Employees from the plant shared Ashland’s commitment to chemical, employee and environmental safety, as well as our Responsible Care management system, Zero-Incident Culture, product safety, and safety expectations.
“All Ashland employees have a commitment to safety and we would like to contribute our great effort to support that commitment,” said Yongchun Zhang, plant manager, as he addressed the group.
“Safety is the first priority for enterprise development. The Ashland Beijing plant has been developing step-by-step with very good EHS performance in the park, and even in the entire Tongzhou district,” commented Changzhou Ma, director, Tongzhou Development Zone, where our Beijing plant is located.
The Beijing site manufactures chemicals for water treatment, papermaking, mining and oil, among other industries.
