SONOXIDE® Ultrasonic Microbial Control uses ultrasonic energy generated at relatively low power and high frequency. The result is total system control of bacteria, biofilm and algae while eliminating or significantly reducing the need for chemical microbiocides. Water is continuously circulated through the treatment chamber, resulting in a complex series of cascading biological reactions within the bacterial cell ultimately causeing cellular destruction.
