DREWFAX® Specialty Surfactants

For more than 20 years, our DREWFAX line has been successfully assisting formulators in paint and coatings, ink/overprint varnish and adhesive markets to overcome compatibility problems, which can occur when one or more raw materials do not fit properly with the matrix of a formulation. This can result in:

Gloss reduction
Hazing
Orange peeling
Cratering
Fish-eyes
Substrate wetting
Intercoat adhesion problems

Although the best approach to prevent such problems from occurring is selection of the right raw materials, sometimes these problems are inevitable, and DREWFAX specialty surfactants are required.

Based on novel, organically-modified silicone chemistry, organic chemistry or combinations of the two, DREWFAX products are designed to overcome compatibility problems and to enhance film-properties. Moreover, they are designed to do this without creating any negative side effects, such foam formation.
