DREWGARD® Flash Rust Corrosion Inhibitors

Based on decades of water treatment experience and know-how in corrosion inhibition, the DREWGARD product line has been formulated to perform as flash rust as well as long-term corrosion inhibitors in paint and coatings and fountain fluid formulations.

Our DREWGARD product line, based on combinations of inorganic chemistry with novel organic chemistries, enables:

Pretreatment of metal substrates, creating temporary protection or passivation prior to coating
Protection against flash rust
Long-term corrosion protection

This enables formulators to prevent negative influences of corrosion on film performance.

Recent developments have focused on environmental compliance, eliminating the use of zinc and nitrate compounds as active ingredients. These novel formulations result in significant reduction or elimination of anti-corrosive pigments.
