Our Metals Application Lab specializes in developing state-of-the-art metal casting techniques and products. It is
the only facility of its kind in the world that is fully staffed and operated by a supplier to the foundry industry,
which demonstrates our commitment to the industry we serve.
Located in Dublin, Ohio, the lab supports our entire worldwide customer base and works closely with our Casting
Solutions' Foundry Research & Development group. The lab focuses on testing various casting products, comparing
and contrasting various materials used in the foundry industry. It also works with molding equipment to improve
castings, investigates melting information for all types of ferrous and non-ferrous alloys and analyzes casting
defects for customers worldwide.
All lab resources support direct divisional activities and can be contracted by individual organizations for
research and problem-resolution services.
