Paint the town pink … or not

Do polka-dots if you want. Ashland’s ingredients are there to help, regardless.

If you’ve done any painting, you know there are two main categories available. Water-based paint is easy to clean up and use, and it has less of a negative impact on the environment. Solvent-based paint often has a strong odor and can be a pain in the stain if you spill it.

We don’t play favorites. Ashland’s Aquaflow™ thickeners and Natrosol™ rheology modifiers help produce water-based paints with better color reproduction, improved flow and leveling, sag resistance and spatter control. Our Dextrol™ and Strodex™ surfactants are great for both water- and solvent-based paint for enhancing gloss, reducing haze and improving handling and storage. We have lots of other paint-enhancing products as well.
